A large number of parameters are important for the precise calculation and modeling of a perfect lens. The following three biometric parameters are new and decisive for the BIOMETRICS technology:
Eye length
Each eye has an individual shape. The length of the eye plays a central role in the level and type of ametropia. For the BIOMETRICS technology, we measure the exact length and take this into account when calculating the lens.
Center of rotation
We move our eye 3 to 4 times per second. So that a clear image is possible every time, we take the exact center of rotation of the eye into account for the BIOMETRICS technology. This allows us to correct the so-called image shell error. The imaging properties of the lens perfectly match those of the eye.
Pupil diameter
The light entering our eyes is limited by the pupil. The pupil diameter has a decisive influence on the size of the visual zones. We measure this precisely and include it in the design calculation of our biometric lenses for the optimal visual range.
The combination of the biometric parameters with the individual parameters results in an optimal match in the lens-eye system and that is exactly what makes the BIOMETRICS technology so unique. The lens becomes as individual as the person who wears it.
